The newest animated series from Disney Channel, Miles from Tomorrowland, is set to premiere on Friday, February 6.
The show launches with four back-to-back episodes that incorporate space and science facts into stories that feature the outer space missions of Miles Callisto and his family as they connect the galaxy on behalf of the Tomrrowland Transit Authority.
Miles and his family – mom and ship’s captain Phoebe, mechanical engineer dad Leo, and tech-savvy big sister Loretta – explore new galaxies while taking viewers on a journey that is meant to fuel kids’ interest in space.
The show starts the voice talents of Olivia Munn (The Newsroom) as Phoebe, Cullen McCarthy (Mr. Peabody & Sherman) as Miles, Tom Kenny (Spongebob Squarepants) as Leo, Fiona Bishop (Sophia the First) as Loretta, and Dee Bradley Baker (Phineas and Ferb) as Merc.
The series will also feature guest star appearances from Mark Hamill (Star Wars), George Takei (Star Trek), Bill Nye the Science Guy, Adrian Grenier (Entourage), Wil Wheaton (Star Trek: The Next Generation), Alton Brown (Good Eats), and Brenda Song (Dads).
Experts from NASA and NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory, the Space Tourism Society, and Google are serving as consultants on the series.
Miles from Tomorrowland debuts at 9 a.m. on February 6 on Disney Channel.
