Halloween Time is returning to the Disneyland Resort this Friday, September 12 and will run through October 31.
The celebration includes Halloween transformations of the Haunted Mansion and Space Mountain in addition to a special, separate ticket event Mickey’s Halloween Party.
Jack Skellington returns to the Haunted Mansion this year for the annual Haunted Mansion Holiday transformation in New Orleans Square. The transformation includes Halloween and Christmas overlays inspired by Tim Burton’s The Nightmare Before Christmas.
This year guests will have a chance to enjoy a special gingerbread house at the Mansion – this year’s features an iron maiden coffin with candy cane spikes and gingerbread zombies.
The Spooky Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy will send guests into a haunted section of space where ghosts appear out the darkness.
Other Halloween Time events includes the Halloween Carnival stage at the Big Thunder Ranch in Frontierland, the Astounding Cauldron of Magic sideshow at the Halloween Carnival, the Pumpkin Festival transformation of Main Street U.S.A., and the Dia de los Muertos display in Frontierland.
Mickey’s Halloween Party is a separate, hard ticket event at Disneyland that is scheduled for 14 nights this year. In addition to trick or treating guests can also enjoy the Halloween Screams fireworks, Mickey’s Costume Party, Monsters U Dance Party, and the Cadaver Dans.
Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party are available online, on mobile devices, and at the main gate. The party is planned for September 26 and 30, October 3, 6, 8, 10, 14, 17, 20, 22, 24, 27, 28, 29, and 31. Tickets are $70 each except tickets for October 31 are $77 each.
