This fall, fans of the Magic Kingdom’s Haunted Mansion will have a chance to shop ‘til they drop at a new themed store.
The as-of-now unnamed shop will be selling Haunted Mansion-themed merchandise – including items from the Haunted Mansion authentic program celebrating the attraction’s 45th anniversary. The store will be taking over the current Yankee Trader location in Liberty Square.
The Yankee Trader closed on July 27.
Speaking of Haunted Mansion merchandise, as part of the anniversary celebration of the Disneyland attraction, the theme park is getting ready to debut the Art of the Haunted Mansion.
Senior Disney Merchandiser David Whitaker says the artists involved in creating the new collection were able to interpret what the Haunted Mansion meant to them.
The Art of the Haunted Mansion collection features original and limited edition pieces of art, sculptures, figurines and more. The collection debuts at Disneyana on Main Street U.S.A. at Disneyland on August 16.
Guests can meet some of the artists behind the new collection on August 16 from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. Artists scheduled to attend include: Steve Adams, Dave Avanzino, David Bird, Britni Brault, Brian Crosby, Jeremy Fulton, Brian Kesinger, Daniel Killen, Bridget McCarty, Miss Mindy, Mike Peraza, Javier Soto and Yakovetic.
