Prior to the theatrical release of Disneytoon’s Planes: Fire & Rescue, the Disney Store is celebrating the film with special in-store events.
Kids ages 3 and older can train to become Aerial Fire Fighters at the special events and learn about the film’s characters.
The in-store events include the following activities:
- Fly low: kids will crawl or walk under a tarp as low as they can without touching the tarp
- Parachute manipulation: kids will toss a smokejumper with a parachute and try to land it on a target
- Rescue: kids will need to find and rescue John Deere Tractors hidden in the store and return them to the Piston Peak Air Attack Base
All participants at the Planes: Fire & Rescue events will receive a certificate and character stickers as they complete the activities. Once the “training” is completed, all participants receive a certificate and balloon.
The “training” events are scheduled for July 12 and 19 at 10:30 a.m., 11:30 a.m., and 12:30 p.m. Check with your local Disney Stores for more information and to confirm times.
Planes: Fire & Rescue opens in theaters nationwide on July 18.
