Each finalist will throw three pitches on Hollywood Boulevard, and any finalist who throws one 100 mph strike out of three pitches will become a potential $1 million winner.

Official rules can be found on Disney’s Million Dollar Arm homepage.

The nine finalists and their guests will be VIPs at the film’s premiere along with the film’s stars, Major League Baseball players, coaches, and more.

Million Dollar Arm, starring Jon Hamm (Mad Men), tells the true story of agent JB Bernstein’s plan to find a new major league pitcher through a reality show he wants to produce in India called “Million Dollar Arm.” JB discovers two 18-year-old boys who have no idea about playing baseball but can throw a fastball. He brings them to America to learn about baseball while JB learns a lesson in teamwork, commitment, and family.

The film arrives in theaters on May 16.
