Runners assemble!
runDisney has announced the Inaugural Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend at the Disneyland Resort on November 14-16.
The events for the Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend include a Family Fun Run 5K, a half marathon, and kids races.
Marvel Avenger characters will be on the race course, cheering on the runners as they run through Disneyland and surrounding areas.
The Avengers Super Heroes Half Marathon Weekend Expo will take place Friday November 14 from 12-7 p.m., and on Saturday, November 15 from 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Disneyland Hotel Exhibit Hall.
The race will be eligible for the Coast-to-Coast Challenge, so if runners have completed a runDisney half marathon or full marathon at the Walt Disney World Resort and they complete this new half marathon they’ll receive a Coast to Coast Race Challenge medal.
