Downtown Disney is planning an authentic St. Patrick’s Day celebration full of music, entertainment, and food on March 7-17.
The celebration is going to feature nearly 10 top Irish bands and professional dancers on three stages on select days during the festival. Nightly performances are scheduled March 7-14 from 5 p.m. until 1 a.m., and from 12 p.m. until 1 a.m. from March 15-17.
Musical performers during the festival include The Willis Clan, U2 tribute band Elevation, Goitse, Three Dollar Band, We Banjo 3, The Ragland Rebels, The Brazen Heads, and the Raglan Road house bands Creel and The West Coast Trio.
There will be plenty of Irish dancing during the festival too, with The Raglan Road Dancers and Irish dancer Ronan McCormack of the original Riverdance will be leading Irish dance workshops.
And you can’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day without traditional Irish food. The four new Disney Food Trucks will be serving during each night of the festival, including a St. Patrick’s Day-themed cupcake. And the World Showcase of Flavors Food Truck will be serving Fisherman’s Pie, a favorite from the Ireland kiosk at the Epcot International Food & Wine Festival.
At Raglan Road guests can order from the lunch, dinner, and bar menus and Irish celebrity chef Kevin Dundon will bring traditional Irish flavors to the festival including loin of bacon and cabbage. On St. Patrick’s Day Raglan Road guests will be seated on a first-come, first-served basis with a cover charge of $10.
Cooke’s of Dublin will be serving Irish favorites including fish and chips, battered sausages, deep-fried candy bars.
