The Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival returns to Walt Disney World on March 5 and fans will have a chance to purchase some fun and festive merchandise this year.
Returning for this year’s festival is the popular topiary artwork that debuted at the 2013 festival. This year’s designs were created by Disney’s Yellow Shoes Marketing group and include a Minnie Mouse wind chime, a Donald Duck garden stake, and a Mickey Mouse garden figurine.
Duffy the Disney Bear is getting a Flower & Garden Festival makeover as a pre-dressed 12-inch plush that looks like a garden gnome.
Other merchandise items include clothing, an ear headband with Minnie Mouse-inspired butterflies, and a coffee mug that features a hidden bee inside.
The Disney pins for the festival feature some of the topiaries from this year’s event, and there is also a limited release pin that features Mickey Mouse. Collectors and pin fans can find the limited release pin in several locations in Epcot. Other limited-edition pins include Kermit the Frog, Mater, and Lightning McQueen.
Vinylmation fans should look for a new “revealed/concealed” mystery set where the figures are shaped like topiaries. These will be released on March 28. The “revealed” figure in the set is a Sorcerer Mickey figure and it will be featured on the top of each mystery box while the other four figures will be randomly packaged, making them the “concealed” figure in the set.
The concealed mystery figures are Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Mickey Mouse, and Minnie Mouse, all in topiary form.
