This year marks the fifth anniversary for Vinylmation figures at the Disney Parks and there are several news series debuting over the next few months.
Leading the Vinylmation charge is a new mystery series inspired by characters from the Indiana Jones film franchise.
These figures launch today – January 10 – at D Street locations in Disneyland and the Walt Disney World Resort, and on the Disney Parks online store.
The series features characters from Raiders of the Lost Ark, and was designed by Thomas Scott the lead Vinylmation artist with Disney Design Group. A special combo pack designed by Disney artist Maria Clapsis will be released on January 24.
On January 17 a new Cutesters series, “Cutesters in the Snow,” is being released at the Disney Parks and online. This is a limited release mystery series designed by Maria Clapsis and Caley Hicks.
At Disney Trading Nights this year fans will see the debut of specially designed limited edition figures presented as “Eachz” – where one figure is more common than the other.
Other Vinyls arriving later this year include a Cranium Command set, an Oswald the Lucky Rabbit “Eachz” set for Easter, a Park Starz series in June that includes Dreamfinder and Sonny Eclipse, and a limited release Duffy the Disney Bear mystery series in July.
