Marvel Entertainment has announced the release of a new line of helmets featuring some of their top superheroes.
The news comes quick on the heels of the announcement of the company’s new line of Marvel Super Hero bikes and tricycles from Huffy.
The new line of helmets will feature cutting edge 3D designs that incorporate bold colors and stylized imagery of Marvel’s heroes including the Avengers and Spider-Man. The 3D features will use the hero’s icons, including Thor’s winged helmet and Captain America’s indestructible shield.
“At Marvel we are constantly looking to showcase the brand attributes of strong, cool and innovative,” said Paul Gitter, senior vice president, licensing, Marvel at Disney Consumer Products. “This new line of helmets brings all that together to give kids an exciting new way to play out their own Super Hero adventures.”
The new line of Marvel-themed helmets is being produced in partnership with C-Preme Limited and will arrive in stores in February 2014.
