If you’re spending New Year’s Eve at the Walt Disney World Resort there’s no shortage of ways to ring in 2014.
Guests visiting the Magic Kingdom on December 30 and 31 will be wowed by Holiday Wishes: Celebrate the Spirit of the Season at 9 p.m. each night. There will be a special presentation of Fantasy in the Sky Fireworks at 11:50 p.m. each night. And on New Year’s Eve there’s a special ticketed fireworks dinner and dessert party at the Tomorrowland Terrace.
New Year’s Eve at Epcot means a lot of great dining options including lunch and dinner celebration at Biergarten Restaurant in Germany and a special dinner at La Hacienda de San Angel in Mexico.
Le Cellier Steakhouse in Canada has three holiday seatings, while Monsieur Paul in France starts their New Year’s Eve celebration at noon with seatings throughout the day. There is also a buffet dinner at the World ShowPlace with reservations available from 4:30 – 10:30 p.m.
The World Showcase is hosting a party with DJs located in several pavilions and at the Future World Fountain Stage. And, IllumiNations will be shown at 6:30 p.m. with a holiday finale, and again at 11:40 p.m. with a New Year’s countdown.
Mulch, Sweat, and Shears will be rocking in the New Year at Disney’s Hollywood Studios during their “New Year’s Eve Spectacular” featuring classic rock, a DJ, and fireworks. This party starts at 6 p.m. and there will be a countdown to midnight.
The party never stops at Downtown Disney with entertainment ranging from a DJ at the Cirque du Soleil Stage to special celebrations at the House of Blues, Bongo’s Cuban Café, Paradiso 37, and Raglan Road.
DisneyQuest is hosting a special ticketed New Year’s Eve event that features fun, food, games, music, and dancing and includes all DisneyQuest attractions and video games.
If you’re looking for a more laid-back experience, there is special holiday dining offered at Flying Fish Café, Citricos, Victoria & Albert’s, Narcoossee’s, and California Grill. There is a special New Year’s Day brunch at Chef Mickey’s and a New Year’s Day breakfast at Boma in the Animal Kingdom Lodge.
