There’s a new official camera for the Walt Disney World Resort and Disneyland Resort, and it’s a Nikon.
Recently, Nikon and Disney announced a multi-year alliance that names the brand as the official camera for the two resorts. The agreement also means that Nikon will have branded “Picture Spots” throughout the theme parks in Orlando and Anaheim, giving guests the chance to take photos in ideal photographic locations.
In a press release, Meg Crofton president of Walt Disney Parks and Resorts Operations, US and France said, “Our Disney Parks are among some of the most photographed locations in the world, so it is only natural for us to further develop our relationship with Nikon, who shares our commitment to capturing magical moments and making memories.”
The Nikon brand will also be integrated into the Disney PhotoPass service – the photographers will be equipped with Nikon cameras and accessories. The Disney Fine Art Photographers and the Adventure Guides with Adventures by Disney will also be using Nikon cameras.
