Yo ho ho! If you’re visiting the Walt Disney World Resort or Disneyland this week, be prepared to talk like a pirate as the parks celebrate Pirate Week.
At the Magic Kingdom, the grown up pirates can visit The Pirates League for a mini-makeover called Skulls and Skurry. Kids and adults taking part in a pirate transformation will also receive complimentary pirate teeth while supplies last. To make a Pirates League reservation call 407-939-2739.
Also at the Magic Kingdom, The Rusty Cutlass pirate band will be playing a merry tune in the Caribbean Plaza. And everyone’s favorite pirates – Captain Hook, Pirate Goofy, and Jake from Jake and the Never Land Pirates – will be making appearances in the park.
Each day before the Celebrate a Dream Come True Parade there will be a special pirate pre-show performance, and those who had a pirate makeover that day might find themselves recruited to join the pirate crew for a procession down Main Street U.S.A.
Out in Disneyland the Bootstrappers pirate band will be entertaining guests in New Orleans Square while the Bilge Rats take over the Sailing Ship Columbia. And guests should keep an eye out for Captain Jack Sparrow who might be making an appearance at Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer Island.
Kids and adults will also have a chance to visit The Pirates League Experience at Halloween Carnival at Big Thunder Ranch Jamboree. The Pirates League is only available at Disneyland through October 31. Guests can make reservations by calling 714-781-7895.
It’s a pirates life for all during this week’s Limited Time Magic event that only lasts from September 23 through September 20. Yo ho, let’s go!
