This summer select Disney Resort hotels will have non-character themed resort merchandise available for purchase, featuring artwork designed by Disney Design Group artist Tim Whalen.
The merchandise features symbols or architectural details that are representative of each resort. Whalen says the details are “like characters that guests may immediately recognizes when staying at those specific resorts.”
These details include a lighthouse for Disney’s Old Key West Resort, a turtle for Disney’s Vero Beach resort, a beach chair for Disney’s Hilton Head Island Resort, and racing horses for Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. Guests should look for a Hidden Mickey in each design.
The resort-specific merchandise includes apparel such as T-shirts, sweatshirts, and golf shirts, drinkware, key chains, magnets, and window decals. Some new items are arriving now at select resorts and the entire line of merchandise should be at the resorts this summer.
