Earlier this week, we reported a rumor that Disney was reportedly in talks to acquire Hasbro. Hasbro’s stock spiked 6.8% after the rumor hit the media, but reports are now saying there’s no truth to the rumor at all.
While Hasbro has officially denied comment, CNBC analyst David Faber said that Hasbro’s advisors told him “there’s absolutely nothing going on that they are aware of at all, in any way, shape or form” between the two companies.
