As the summer crowds wind down at Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure, 10 attractions will be closing for renovations.
The longest closures will be Indiana Jones Adventure, Casey Jr. Circus Train and Storybook Land Canal Boats. These closures begin Tuesday, and will be closed through fall. Indiana Jones Adventure will reopen December 7 after improvements are made to enhance lighting, paint and other effects. Storybook Land Canal Boats and Casey Jr. Circus Train will both reopen November 15 after undergoing routine safety enhancements.
Additionally, several attractions will be closing temporarily to prepare for Halloween Time at the resort. These attractions include Big Thunder Ranch Petting Farm and Space Mountain, which will close September 10-13.
Meanwhile, the Muppet Vision 3D Theater in Disney California Adventure will also close from September 10-13 in preparation for screening sneak peaks of Frankenweenie. Disneyland’s Haunted Mansion has already been closed, but will reopen September 14. Finally, the Rafts to Pirate’s Lair on Tom Sawyer’s Island, Mark Twain’s Riverboat and Sailing Ship Columbia will all undergo routine maintenance and reopen mid-September.
