Fans of the hit Disney Channel series Good Luck Charlie received some good news this week, as Disney announced that the show will be getting a fourth season. The family-oriented show focuses on the everyday life of the Duncan family as they raise their fourth child, Charlie.
About the renewal, Senior Vice President of Original Programming for Disney Channels Worldwide Adam Bonnett says:
“The success of ‘Good Luck Charlie’ is a testament to the strong comedic writing of the inventive creative team and characters so artfully brought to life by the talented cast. Every kid wants to be part of the Duncan family, and we look forward to telling more stories that engage and entertain viewers in a fresh and relevant way.”
In the show’s fourth season, audiences will be able to watch as the Duncan’s youngest child Toby grows into a toddler and Charlie embarks on new play dates. The entire Duncan family will be getting busier and have new milestones and amusements as well: Amy will achieve celebrity status through her success as a mommy blogger, Bob begins contemplating his future after a mid-life crisis, PJ develops a passion for culinary arts, Gabe forms a special friendship with a girl, and Teddy and Spencer evaluate their relationship as college quickly approaches.
Good Luck Charlie stars Bridgit Mendler, Jason Dolley, Leigh-Allyn Baker, Bradley Steven Perry, Mia Talerico, and Eric Allan Kramer. The series was created by Phil Baker and Drew Vaupen, who serve as executive producers with Dan Staley.
