Right in the heart of Walt Disney World a unique residential resort community is being planned; “Golden Oak.” After completion, the new community will boast approximately 450 custom homes with many exclusive perks and community services available to it’s residents. Although, you may need a perpetual money tree, instead of one ‘golden Oak,’ to live there. Taking up residence in the new luxury community is not meant for the hordes of middle-class Americans that flood Disney parks every year; home prices will range from a mind-blowing 1.5 to 8 million dollars.
“We have a range of options for Guests at all price points to enjoy the Walt Disney World Resort. But Golden Oak is something totally new: a residential resort community, right in the heart of the magic,” said Matt Kelly, vice president, Disney Resort Real Estate Development. “Golden Oak will be a place where families can come together and make memories for generations to come–with Disney World right at their doorstep.” (WDW Public Affairs)
“Golden Oak” will also include the “Four Seasons Resort Orlando,” giving residents access to luxury amenities that the renowned chain of “Four Seasons” resorts has to offer. A private clubhouse, expansive conservation areas, Disney-imagineered parks & common areas, concierge services, and a variety of Walt Disney World Resort benefits are said to be included with residency.
WDW Public Affairs is reporting that only 30 home sites are available for sale this year. Positions will be secured on the buyer’s list in the order in which a signed Lot Release Priority Agreement and a refundable $25,000 deposit is received.
