Last year, we were able to show you a glimpse at the making of Beast’s Castle in Fantasyland. Now, we can give you a sneak peek of another royal’s residence. Prince Eric’s Castle at New Fantasyland in Magic Kingdom will house the Under the Sea – Journey of The Little Mermaid attraction, and we have several photos to show you so you can catch a glimpse of what this attraction will look like.
The castle has a definite Mediterranean-style design, and will feature a Spanish-tile roof and an “E” monogram to pay homage to the castle’s royal resident. The gorgeous balconies atop the towers will feature maritime-inspired decor, including seaweed support beams. To further the nautical design, the ground level features stunning hand-painted artwork on the walls depicting a perilous sea journey.
Are you excited to check out Prince Eric’s castle for yourself when the attraction officially opens?
