Disney and Marvel’s The Avengers has broke box office records again, becoming the sixth biggest film of all time. On Thursday, the film upped its worldwide profits to $1.07 billion. In fact, the film beat out the anticipated flick Battleship, which opened to a mere $420,000.
In North America, The Avengers managed to break another record by earning $400 million in a mere two weeks. This weekend, sources are projecting the film will earn another $120 million, which would put The Avengers as the number four title of all time globally.
