After nearly three years of negotiations regarding themes, format, pricing, menu choices and operating hours, Splitsville has finally signed a deal with Disney officials to open a new location in Walt Disney World’s Downtown Disney.
The new venue will be a billiards, bowling and dining nightlife entertainment center, and will take over the location previously occupied by Virgin Records. The two-story building will be able to accommodate up to 750 people and offer 30 bowling lanes for guests.
Disney spokeswoman Kathleen Prihoda says:
We are excited to have Splitsville coming on board. It will be a great addition for our guests and a good fit for the lively area.
Sources say that if all goes according to plan, Splitsville may officially open as soon as this fall.
