The director of animal operations from the Walt Disney Co., Mark Stetter, has just been hired at Colorado State University to be the new dean of the College of Veterinary Medicine and Biomedical Sciences.
Stetter’s credentials are impressive; in total, he has more than 23 years of experience in veterinary medicine.
The university has one of the top-ranked veterinary programs in the nation, and has won numerous accolades for their infectious disease and cancer research as well as other health-related research.
While working for Disney, Stetter helped oversee the care of thousands of animals for Disney’s various parks around the world. He will begin his new position in May.
