Sources have reported a rumored leak that Epic Mickey 2, the sequel to the popular Wii game Epic Mickey, will be released on multiple consoles. While the leak came from the Disney newsletter itself, the newsletter has since been intercepted and taken down.
According to media reports, the leak also stated that the sequel would be released in Fall 2012, and include a co-op mode. According to the rumors, the co-op mode will enable another player to take on the role of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who will be given the special abilities of flying and using electricity to solve problems and take down enemies.
While no official word from Disney has confirmed or denied this rumor, it’s easy to wonder why this information would have made it to the official Disney newsletter without being properly screened first.
