Sources say that Shanghai Disneyland is expected to receive between 10.5 and 15 million visitors annually when the park opens. Construction on the new park began in April 2011, and is expected to finish in 2016.

Shanghai Disneyland will be three times of the one in Hong Kong. The massive population in the Yangtze River Delta will strongly support it to be a top choice for a one-day tour.
Shanghai Disneyland will be the first Disney park on the Chinese mainland, as well as the world’s sixth Disney amusement park.
