Four Disney stars who come from military families are collaborating with First Lady Michelle Obama in an effort to encourage young people to reach out to others who come from families that serve in the Armed Forces.
China Anne McClain from A.N.T. Farm, Adam Irigoyen from Shake It Up, and brothers Doug Brochu (So Random) and Chris Brochu (Lemonade Mouth) are teaming up with the First Lady to tell their stories about what it’s like growing up in a military family.
“You might just make a new friend,” says Michelle Obama when encouraging young people to talk to kids who come from military families. Chris Brochu, his brother and McClain visited The White House earlier this week to speak to the First Lady about these issues, and received a tour of the mansion as well.
The Disney stars in collaboration with the First Lady will appear in television spots that will air on The Disney Channel starting Friday.
