We just can’t wait for The Muppets to debut in theaters on November 23, and Disney has recently announced some special merchandise that will be coming to the parks to celebrate the upcoming film. The artist Noah, together with two of his favorite collaborative artists, Dez Einswell and Jon Chase, will bring the amazing Muppet characters that we know and love to life in a new collection. Merchandise included in the new collection will include a variety of clothing, original and limited edition artwork, skate decks, and Vinylmation.
About the new collection, Noah says:
“Being given the unique opportunity to bring such nostalgic, everlasting characters to life, for others to enjoy, was Muppet Mayhem at its best. All three of us have incredible creative outlets in art, apparel and toys. At the heart of each is art and storytelling, which is also the core of Noah Fine Art Collective. This collection embraces that philosophy and allowed each of us to celebrate our favorite characters, and showcase them in non-traditional formats, all while staying true to the personalities of each character and each artist.”
Muppet fans will be able to find this new collection at Downtown Disney’s D-Street at the Disneyland Resort. The collection will launch on November 17, 2011 at a special event exclusively for D23 members (to learn more information about the event, click here). The collection will then have a public launch at the store on Friday, November 18, with all three artists on hand for demonstrations and signings.
