It’s official – Disney Channel’s latest original movie, Geek Charming, will debut Friday, November 11 at 8/7c. The film is based off of the hit novel and will star Modern Family’s Sarah Hyland.
The movie will follow main character Dylan (played by Hyland), a snobby and very popular high school junior who agrees to be part of a documentary being made by Josh (played by Matt Prokop.) Josh is the resident film geek at school, but as Dylan and Josh work on the documentary together they start to see each other in a new way.
Before the film premieres, Disney Channel will be celebrating “Geek Week” by airing movies and certain TV show episodes that highlight “geekdom.” The film’s stars will also be giving fans a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Geek Charming with special features that will air Monday through Thursday, November 7-10 starting at 8:30/7:30 Eastern Time.
