Pixar’s “Up” was nominated for three Grammy awards and won two of them on Sunday night.
The film won Best Score Soundtrack Album For Motion Picture, Television Or Other Visual Media and Best Instrumental Composition, the latter was for the track “Married Life.” These awards recognize Michael Giacchino who was the composer for the films score.
“Up” was also nominated for Best Instrumental Arrangement, which was won by Bill Cunliffe for “West Side Story Medley.”
These wins give “Up” strong standing heading into the Oscar awards where it hopes to win the Best Original Score award.
