Kingdom Hearts, the popular Disney crossover action role-play video game finally has a release date for it’s latest installment, “Birth by Sleep.” Set to be released for the PSP in North American stores on September 7th, 2010. Square Enix, the game publisher, has also announced that “Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep” will also be available as part of a hardware bundle which will include the game, a 4GB memory stick, a movie unrelated to the Kingdom Hearts franchise, and a “Mystic Silver” version of the Play Station Portable handheld gaming system.
“The PSP game introduces a number of new locales from the Disney universe, including Sleeping Beauty’s Enchanted Dominion, deep space from Lilo & Stich, and the Dwarf Woodlands, as seen in Snow White. “Birth by Sleep” is the fifth installment in Square Enix’s collaboration with Disney and will serve as a prequel to the 2002 original.
