Originally, Goofy’s Sky School, one of the new attractions set to open at Disney California Adventure Park, was slated to open June 3. Now, sources say the attraction’s opening date has been postponed until July 1.
Since October, crews have been working to transform the previous site of Mulholland Madness into the new ride, but John McClintock, a Disney Resort spokesman, said that “Goofy needs a little more flight training.” As of this writing, another new attraction – The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Undersea Adventure will still open June 3.
While it’s a bit disappointing that Goofy’s Sky School’s opening date has been pushed back, it will be ready in time to celebrate the reopening of the renovated Paradise Pier section of Disney California Adventure, which will also be completed July 1.
