The themed suites at the Disneyland Hotel offer guests a chance to fully immerse themselves in a magical environment. There are five different themed suites to choose from, including Pirates of the Caribbean, Mickey Mouse Penthouse, the Fairy Tale Suite, Big Thunder Suite, and Adventureland Suite.
The Pirates of the Caribbean Suite , themed after the popular movie franchise and attraction, incorporates unique decor and special Disney touches. The room is designed with Spanish colonial-style furnishing and nautical furniture, hardwood floors, decorative artwork, and replicas from the film. The suite also includes plenty of modern amenities, including a plasma TV, jacuzzi tub and a steam shower.
Another themed suite located at the Disneyland Hotel is the Mickey Mouse Penthouse, a swanky design decked out in Mickey Mouse decor and black, white, red and yellow colors. The suite spans 1600 square feet and features rare artwork of Walt and Mickey on the walls, as well as 3D artwork, a built-in media wall with three flat screen TV’s, steam shower, jacuzzi tub, a high-tech animator’s station for the kids to enjoy and plenty more.
Disneyland Hotel’s Fairy Tale Suite is another themed suite available, and guests are greeted by Tinker Bell, who appears above a crystal castle encased in the wall. A marble foyer leads to the bedroom, which overlooks Disneyland Resort and features a canopy bed, a custom-designed dresser, a flat panel television, automatic drapes and crown moulding. In the suite’s bathroom, a hand-cut mosaic of Sleeping Beauty’s Castle adorns the wall, while the amenities include a steam shower and a jacuzzi tub with chromo-therapy.
In the Big Thunder Suite, up to six guests can enjoy the 1400 square foot room featuring rustic decor and amenities inspired by the Big Thunder Mountain Railroad attraction located at Disneyland park. The doorbell features the sound of howling wolves, and guests can also push a button to hear sounds from the attraction for added ambiance. A fireplace serves as the focal point of the suite, and includes a mounted flat-panel television. Antique tools from the 1800’s adorn the suite, and a “living portrait” of a gold miner (who magically changes activities throughout the day) hangs above the bar in the dining room. The suite features plenty of rustic amenities as well, including a copper tub.
Finally, the Adventureland Suite at Disneyland Hotel, designed to immerse guests in the ambiance of a 1930’s explorers’ camp, features plenty of safari and Asian-inspired decor and amenities. The master bedroom is themed after a safari lodge and includes a claw foot tub, while the adjacent master bathroom includes a foot spa, steam and rain showers as well as lighting and sound effects to make guests feel as if they are in a rain forest. The living area includes a wet bar, TV, and themed background music inspired by the Jungle Cruise attraction, Disney adventure-themed movies and music created for Disney’s Animal Kingdom park.
