Located in a casual waterfront setting at Downtown Disney Marketplace, this restaurant features crab cakes, clam chowder, seafood pasta, chicken and beef entrees. Adult guests can also choose to indulge with one of the restaurant’s signature strawberry margaritas! While you dine, you’ll also be able to enjoy the scenic views of Buena Vista Lagoon.
If you’re in the mood for a taste of Italy, visit Portobello. This casually elegant restaurant overlooks Lake Buena Vista Lagoon and serves a variety of authentic Italian favorites inspired by the Italian countryside. You can also choose to sample one of the many fine Italian and American wines available, which will pair nicely with your pasta, pizza, and other Italian favorites you can choose from.
For Irish fare, stop by Raglan Road Irish Pub & Restaurant for lunch, dinner or a late night meal. The menu features a variety of traditional dishes with a contemporary flair, such as Shepard’s pie and beef stew. Sharing platters, a selection of appetizers and fresh salads round out the menu. You’ll also be entertained by live Irish music and dancers every night, so grab a beer and enjoy the house band Creel for a helping of traditional Irish ballads and toe-tapping jigs that will get you moving to the music. For a quick service option, Cookes of Dublin is located at Raglan Road and serves pies, fish and chips and other Irish favorites for diners who need to grab a bite on the go.
If you’d like a quick bite to eat, stop by the Earl of Sandwich. This establishment serves 13 different kinds of hot sandwiches, as well as a variety of salads, wraps, fresh baked goods, desserts, soups and breakfast selections. For different quick-service fare, you can try Pollo Campero for delicious Latin American cuisine such as Latin chicken, sweet plantains, yuca fries, horchata and tamarindo.
Got a sweet tooth? One of Downtown Disney’s newest establishments, Babycakes, should satisfy your craving for something sweet. This gourmet cupcake bakery serves completely vegan cupcakes, as well as cookies, brownies, loaves and donuts. Flavors vary depending on the day, but can include chocolate, vanilla, lemon, carrot, red velvet, and lots more. The bakery also has daily specials, such as cookie sandwiches or frosted brownies. If vegan desserts aren’t your thing, stop by Ghirardelli Soda Fountain and Chocolate Shop for delicious chocolate sundaes topped with homemade hot fudge.
For a fun, family-friendly restaurant try the Rainforest Cafe. Simulated thunderstorms, talking animals and more abound in this delightful restaurant perfect for families and large groups. Choose from a variety of seafood, chicken, meat and vegetarian dishes as well as specialty desserts that are big enough to share! Another family-friendly restaurant located in the Marketplace section of Downtown Disney is the T-REX Cafe Restaurant, a dinosaur-themed restaurant featuring life-size animated dinos and interactive displays. Burgers, sandwiches, steak, seafood, pastas, pizza and more are available to choose from, and kids have their own special menu.
