Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is one of several Disney Vacation Club resorts at Walt Disney World Resort, and opened on May 17, 2004 and was built in four phases, with completion of the work finished in 2009. The equestrian-themed, Victorian-style Disney Deluxe Villa Resort resides on Village Lake and features 65 acres of lush landscaping and majestic views.
The vacation villas within Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa are divided into six sections – The Springs, The Paddock, Congress Park, The Carousel, The Grandstand and The Treehouse Villas, which allow guests to sleep high amongst the trees. All of the guest rooms are designed to be a home-away-from-home, and feature plenty of the comforts visitors are used to like full kitchens, washers and dryers, and more with quaint Victorian touches.
Available room types include studios, one bedroom villas, two bedroom villas, the Treehouse Villas and 3 bedroom villas, and depending on room type, can accommodate between 4 and 12 guests. Rooms also offer garden views, fairway views, lake views, pool views or woodland views depending on availability.
There are several dining establishments offered at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, from casual dining to lounges to quick service eateries. The Artist’s Palette doubles as both an eatery and a market, so guests can shop and enjoy casual fare such as sandwiches, salads and flatbread, and is themed after an artist’s loft. The Turf Club Lounge offers American fare with a creative spin, while the sit-down Turf Club Bar and Grill features burgers, seafood and more with majestic views of Disney’s Buena Vista Golf Course.
Recreational activities abound at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa as well, including plenty of outdoor fun such as the basketball court, barbecue pavilion, tennis, jogging trails, bike rentals, and golf. Guests can also head over to the Community Hall for a game of ping pong, foosball, shuffleboard or other board games. The hall also offers scheduled events, which change daily. The Win, Place or Show Arcade can also be fun for the whole family and features a variety of pinball and video games for kids and adults alike.
Several pools are available as well, including the main High Rock Spring Pool. This pool features a water slide, unique rockwork, two hot tubs and a child’s play area featuring a Donald Duck water sculpture. Additional pools can be found at the Grandstand, Congress Park and The Paddock sections of the resort.
Visitors can also relax and enjoy the full-service spa, which features a wide array of treatments such as massages, facials, body treatments, hand and foot treatments, and specialty services designed specifically for children ages 4 to 12. The resort also offers a Health Club with a variety of top-of-the-line gym equipment, as well as a personal trainer by request.
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a home away from home for Disney Vacation Club Members, and features plenty of luxurious amenities and recreational activities for guests to enjoy while they aren’t visiting the Disney theme parks.
