Summer kicks off this week at the Downtown Disney District at Disneyland.
Friday June 6 is the beginning of the Downtown Disney Summer Celebration and the first DOLE Days of Summer Hawaiian Night.
The Hawaiian Nights happen every Friday night except July 4 and run through mid-July. They feature Hawaii-themed entertainment in the Paradise Plaza and Aulani cast members will be on hand to share information about the resort.
The Downtown Disney District in partnership with Dole will be showcasing new recipes throughout the summer including a Pineapple Mojito at Tortilla Joes, Mango Chicken Salad at La Brea Bakery, and a Banana Split Dazzler at Haagen-Dazs.
On Father’s Day weekend RIDEMAKERZ is bringing back the “Build One Ride and Build Another Ride for Free” special for kids and dads.
The ESPN Zone will be showing the World Cup Soccer games throughout the tournament and will also be serving a special breakfast menu if there are morning games.
The Downtown Disney District will also host special outdoor entertainment on Saturdays including: DJ Wendy on July 26, Catch a Wave surf band on August 2, Ele (Latin band) on August 9, and Island Reggae on August 16.
