Several Downtown Disney restaurants, including Wolfgang Puck Cafe, Fulton’s Crab House, and Portobello, have recently announced they will be hosting group cooking classes – and even the kids can sharpen their culinary prowess with a cooking class meant just for them!
At Wolfgang Puck Cafe, interested parties can call 407-828-8996 to arrange a group cooking demonstration with a minimum of 30 people. The class, taught by chefs at the Wolfgang Puck Cafe, will include a four-course meal demonstration that will feature California rolls, pumpkin ravioli, Chinois chicken salad and Bananas Foster. All group members can take home customized menu cards so they’ll be able to replicate the recipes at home. Commemorative aprons and cookbooks will also be available for an additional fee.
The cost to book a group cooking demo at Wolfgang Puck Cafe is $300 for the event, plus $40 for each person.
At Downtown Disney Orlando’s Portobello restaurant, a group cooking class for 20-40 people can be arranged, and will include personalized menu cards, exclusive recipes, and lunch served during the presentation. The cooking class demonstration will include a portobello mushroom appetizer; ravioli gigante and panna cotta for dessert. The charge is $40 per person plus an event fee. Additional options such as wine pairings, cookbooks, and Private Label Tuscan Olive Oil, will be available for additional fees.
Alternatively, Portobello will be offering a kids cooking class to help your children master the art of pizza making! The package will include party favors, a customized chef’s hat, fruit, and make your own sundaes and soft drinks. The charge is $25 per child in addition to the event fee.
Finally, Fulton’s Crab House, Wolfgang Puck Cafe and Portobello will be joining together to offer a kids-only cooking demonstration at each restaurant. Kids will learn to make a Crispy Chicken Finger Roll at Wolfgang Puck Cafe; Ravioli Gigante at Portobello and a Chocolate Chip Cookie Sundae at Fulton’s Crab House.
The demonstration will take place June 24 from noon to 3 p.m., and will cost $30 for all three courses or $12 for each individual class and is available for children ages 6 to 12. Kids will receive an apron and chef’s hat, as well. To register, call 407-828-8996.
