The inaugural Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend is January 15-18 at the Disneyland Resort and runDisney recently shared some images of the all-new finisher medals.
Runner (and walkers) who finish the Star Wars 5K will receive a colorful medal featuring C-3PO. The 10K finisher’s hexagon-shaped medal features a Stormtrooper
The half marathon medal design was influenced by the Medal of Bravery that was presented to Luke Sykwalker and Han Solo after the Battle of Yavin.
Runners participating in the Rebel Challenge – which includes the 10K and the half marathon – will take home the 10K medal, the half marathon medal, and the Rebel Challenge medal that features a spinner medallion. The medallion features both the dark side of the Force and the light side of the Force.
