Disneynature’s new documentary African Cats, which will premiere on Earth Day, promises to be a thrilling look into a real-life Lion King adventure.
Fans of Disneynature and their documentaries can pledge to see the new film by logging onto http://eventful.com/africancats. Once there, you can pledge your commitment to watching the new movie and view a real-time counter of how many others have participated. There will also be a graphical map showing how your pledge, and the pledges of others, are working to help conserve and protect the savanna. The acres of the savanna that are saved are based upon the number of pledges received.
Additionally, those who pledge can check in via their mobile devices once they arrive at the theater for the opportunity to win special prizes!
To purchase tickets for African Cats, visit DisneyTicketsTogether.com, which launches April 18. The application, which will be Facebook’s first social ticketing application, will encourage fans to invite their friends and create events to see the movie together. For every “Yes” RSVP received for events created using this application, Disney will increase the amount of donations to the “Save the Savanna” fund.
