We’re so excited to see Disney’s upcoming film Oz: The Great and Powerful, which tells the story about the infamous Wizard’s arrival in Oz. While the film is still a few weeks away from its official theatrical release, this week brought the release of a few new clips and a behind-the-scenes featurette that give us a better look at what to expect in this intriguing new film.
The first clip, entitled “Bananas,” features Oscar Diggs/The Wizard (James Franco) and Finley the flying monkey (voiced by Zach Braff) on the Yellow Brick Road, where they discuss Diggs’ plan to rid Oz of the Wicked Witch of the West.
In the second clip, “Argument Over Oz,” we see witches Evanora (Rachel Weisz) and Theodora (Mila Kunis) arguing over the Wizard’s true intentions, and where Theodora’s real loyalties lie.
Finally, Walt Disney Studios UK also released a new behind-the-scenes video from the film this week, in which the film’s stars, including Franco, Braff, Kunis, and Michelle Williams, discuss the world of Oz that’s been created for the film and director Sam Raimi.
Oz: The Great and Powerful will debut in theaters March 8, 2013.
