Another new show is about to take root on the Disney Channel! Fish Hooks will be premiering at 9pm ET on September 24th, 2010, with an 11-minute preview airing after Camp Rock 2 on September 3rd.
The animated series, created and co-produced by kids book illustrator and author Noah Z. Jones, will focus on three tween fish, Milo, Bea, and Oscar, as they go through (fish) high school. Another interesting tidbit: the series will be produced using both digital animation and photo collage (shades of Charlie and Lola).
The show’s cast is star-studded, including Kyle Massey (“Cory in the House”) as Milo, Chelsea Staub (“JONAS L.A.”) as Bea, and Justin Roiland (“The Sarah Silverman Program”) as Oscar. Recurring guest stars will include Rachel Dratch, Richard Simmons, Jerry Stiller, and Edie McClurg (“Ferris Bueller’s Day Off”).
