Disney continues to gear up for Earth Day on April 22, and Disneyland’s Downtown Disney District will be offering plenty of fun “earthy” activities of their own to help you celebrate!
Guests will be able to check out the premiere of Disneynature’s African Cats, which will open at the AMC 12 Theaters. Plus, between the theater and Kitson Kids, check out Archisand as they build a large replica of a lioness and her cubs. More African Cats-themed fun will be had with free Earth Day face painting from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Kaman’s Art Shoppe Kiosk, and visitors can also take part watching Splash! Animals paint gorgeous pictures of endangered wildlife with nothing but their hands and eco-friendly paint! Shows take place from 5-9 p.m. April 22 and 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. April 23.
Finally, children will love being able to build their very own Earth Day Soy Bear at Build-A-Bear Workshop, as well as taking photographs with Cha Cha the frog at popular eatery Rainforest Cafe.
