Today marks an exciting milestone for the Broadway production of The Lion King, as the Tony Award-winning musical celebrates 14 years on the Great White Way. The show, which opened on Broadway in 1997, is currently the seventh longest running musical in Broadway history, and its 19 global productions have been seen by more than 63 million people.

The musical’s Broadway cast currently includes Adam Jacobs as Simba, Gareth Saxe as Scar, Alton Fitzgerald White as Mufasa and Tshidi Manye as Rafiki.
