Disney is kicking off the new Disney Junior network with a cool new contest!
Enter now for a chance to have your child’s picture shown on the Disney Junior block, which will begin broadcasting on the Disney Channel the week of February 14.
Disney Junior, a new block of television created for children ages 2-7, will officially replace Playhouse Disney on Valentine’s Day. The move is the first phase in Disney’s move to eventually split Disney Channel into two separate networks. In 2012, Disney Junior will replace the existing SoapNet.
The premiere of Disney Junior programming on February 14 will kick off with three new original series, each lasting 30 minutes. “Jake and the Neverland Pirates,” “Babar and the Adventures of Badou,” and “Tinga Tinga Tales” will join some of the network’s existing programs to complete the lineup. Programming will take place 4 a.m. – 2 p.m. weekdays and 4 a.m. – 9 a.m. during the weekends.
