Today Disney Junior is debuting That’s Fresh: For Kids, an updated version of the popular Disney Junior Night Light cooking series That’s Fresh. New episodes are scheduled for every morning on the Disney Channel this week.
The series is hosted by Chef Helen Cavallo and encourages viewers to play and active role in the cooking process and lets kids know the importance of healthy eating habits.
In each episode Chef Cavallo prepares simple and nutritious recipes that don’t require sharp objects or cooking so that young viewers can safely assist their parents or caregivers. Some of the featured recipes include veggie rolls, fruit kabobs, trail mix, berry pops, and Doc McStuffins’ No Bake Muffins.
Each recipe used in That’s Fresh: For Kids are Mickey Check-approved, which means they meet Disney Nutritional Guidelines that limit calories, saturated fat, sodium, and sugar.
All Disney Junior Night Light content is produced by Disney Interactive Family and the block is sponsored by Babble, Disney’s leading parenting blog platform.
