Disney Cruise Line has announced new enhancements coming to the Disney Dream this fall.
The enhancements include two new interactive youth areas – one with a Star Wars theme and the other with a Disney Infinity theme. The popular Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique is also coming to the Dream.
The new Star Wars-themed area in the Oceaneer Club – Star Wars: Millennium Falcon – includes a play area inspired by the ship from the Star Wars films. Guests (ages 3-12 only) will join the Rebel Alliance upon entering the area and will assist in the navigation of the ship.
Kids will also be able to make Star Wars-themed crafts and watch episode from the Disney XD series Star Wars Rebels. The Jedi Training Academy will also have a shipboard version for guests.
The Oceaneer Club will also feature a new interactive space based on Disney Infinity. The area will include a Toy Box where kids can enjoy virtual experiences and customized on-screen adventures. A complete set of Disney Infinity character figures will be on display for gameplay.
A new sweet shop, Vanellope’s Sweets & Treats will be serving handmade gelato and ice cream, candy, and other novelty items. The shop will be located on Deck 11 and will feature décor inspired by Wreck-It-Ralph including Vanellope’s race car and King Candy’s throne.
The Disney Dream will be in dry dock from October 4-24 in Freeport, Bahamas, and the enhancements will debut on the October 26 four-night cruise to the Bahamas.
