The Disney Channel is sporting a brand new channel logo.
The network debuted the new channel logo and all-new on-air graphics on May 23 in the U.S. The other 42 Disney Channels worldwide will also get a logo overhaul this year.
All programming, identification spots, and programming menus will feature the new logo, style, and pattern which features a contemporary new look.
“The new branding was an international collaboration between Disney Channel global and European teams and is crafted so our teams everywhere can customize it to create local stories, in familiar settings, featuring culturally identifiable storytelling,” said Richard Loomis, Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer, Disney Channels Worldwide.
The logo is a combination of two classic Disney icons – the signature of Walt Disney and the three-circle shape of Mickey Mouse. The easily recognized four note theme and the “wand ID” by Disney Channel stars is still being used in a new marketing package on the network.
