Two of the Moderate resorts at Walt Disney World are set to be updated over the next couple of years.
Disney announced that Coronado Springs Resort and Caribbean Beach Resort will both be updated and reimagined.
Coronado Springs will be expanded with a 15-story tower featuring 500 additional guest rooms. The resort will also update its current rooms and improve the landscape by adding floating gardens and and “island oasis.”
The new tower will feature a rooftop dining experience for guests, offering panoramic views and a chance to see the fireworks from nearby theme parks.
Last month we told you about permits filed for a project at Caribbean Beach Resort. While we aren’t sure if those permits are related to this project, we can give you an update about what’s coming.
Caribbean Beach Resort will be updating and reimagining Centertown with waterfront dining and retail shopping. These updates aim to give guests better access to dining, shopping, and other amenities.
Disney says these projects will be happening over the next two years.
