Disney’s Animal Kingdom is set to undergo some more changes in 2015.
Disney recently announced an all-new African Marketplace that is set to open in the spring. The new marketplace will be located in the Harambe area of the park and will be called Harambe Marketplace.
Guests will find new shopping and dining options in the Marketplace including a new quick-service dining location. This new quick service option will offer street-inspired food and beverages served at walk-up windows.
The new Harambe Marketplace area will also offer more shaded areas for relaxing and it’ll open up a new pathway from Africa to Bradley Falls and the Asia area of the theme park.
With the addition of the marketplace the Harambe section of the Animal Kingdom will be doubled in size.
This new marketplace is just part of the on-going expansion of Disney’s Animal Kingdom which also includes the construction of Avatarland.
