In April, we brought you news that shoe designer Christian Louboutin would be working with Disney to design a pair of shoes inspired by Cinderella, which will be re-released this fall.
Now, the designer has unveiled his version of the iconic glass slippers from Disney’s fairy tale. The limited edition red-soled heels are adorned in lace and covered with swarovski crystals and sparkling butterfly accents and were revealed on July 4 in Paris.
Says Louboutin:
I have been so lucky to have crossed paths with Cinderella, an icon who is so emblematic to the shoe world as well as the dream world.
The Diamond Edition re-release of Cinderella will hit stores October 2, 2012.
