Great news! The Wild Africa Trek at Disney’s Animal Kingdom is now taking reservations!
This brand new, three-hour adventure through the Harambe Wildlife Reserve in Animal Kingdom theme park will offer a close-up view of safari animals as well as a few special treats — including the opportunity to clip onto a lifeline, cross a rope bridge, and cliff-hang for a close encounter with hippos and crocodiles!
Want a few more reasons to sign up? How about seeing parts of the Harambe reserve that you’ve never seen on the regular Kilimanjaro Safari, bushwalking through fern and vine forests, and relaxing at a private safari camp with a great view of animals and a wonderful “taste of Africa” spread?
Here are the details: the trek will be offered several times daily at Disney’s Animal Kingdom and groups will consist of no more than 12 trekkers per safari.
Make reservations by calling 407-WDW-TOUR (939-8687). Pricing will vary seasonally, but guests who reserve a booking from Jan. 16-Feb. 26, 2011, may take advantage of an introductory offer starting at $129. Park admission is required for participants.
