The 22nd annual Epcot Flower and Garden Festival will feature the first Anna and Elsa topiaries at Walt Disney World when the event opens March 4, 2015.
The 75-day festival will also feature new Disney character topiaries, Outdoor Kitchens, and ten new mini gardens.
The Frozen-inspired topiary featuring Anna and Elsa will be located at the World Showcase Plaza and will feature white and silver flowers in addition to bright flowers including Gerbera daisies, petunias, and more. A new topiary featuring Chip and Dale will be located at the front entrance along with a Goofy and friends topiary.
Other new additions to the 2015 festival include ten mini gardens including a health garden, a pepper garden, a dinosaur plant garden, and a Shakespeare garden. The health garden will be located near The Land pavilion and will display medicinal plants including garlic, aloe, and mint. The Shakespeare garden will be located at the United Kingdom pavilion and will feature roses, rosemary, and lavender.
Tinker Bell’s Butterfly House will give guests the chance to discover the story of the Monarch butterfly’s journey and will feature hundreds of butterflies.
Special weekend events during the festival include: Art in the Garden Weekend (March 27-29), Florida Fresh Weekend (April 24-26), and Florida Federation of Garden Clubs, Inc. Weekend (May 8-10).
